I grew up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and look forward to sharing my passion for my home waters with you! Smallmouth bass and especially musky are my favorite fish to target but I can also have a blast catching bluegill. I guide on our local rivers and lesser pressured lakes in the local Hayward area.
Full Day River Float Trips
Full day river floats are typically 8hrs of on the water fishing. Rivers I guide are the Chippewa, Flambeau, Red Cedar and a few smaller rivers within the Hayward area. Please note river float trips are fly fishing only in my boat. Float trips are limited to 1 or 2 guests.
Full or Half Day Lake Trips
Full and half day trips are offered for multiply fish species on many Hayward area Lakes with both fly and conventional fishing gear. I can accommodate up to 3 guests on my boat on these trips. If fly fishing, 2 guests is recommended.
What to Bring
I provide all fishing gear on my guide trips, but you are free to bring your own. On full day trips, lunch and water will be provided. On half day trips I provide light snacks and water.
You should bring the following:
Polarized Sunglasses, rain gear,
medications, beverages of choice, snacks, and a positive attitude.
Tailored Fishing Trips
I understand that every trip has different needs and expectations. My goal is to tailor your trip to best fit your needs and fishing expectations. I typically base my guide trips based on current fishing conditions and like to select the location no more than 2 days prior but understand that isn't always the client's desire. All trip details will be communicated at a minimum of the evening before via text or phone call (I prefer phone call).
Trip Rates
Full Day River Float Trip, 8hrs: $450
Full Day Lake Trip, 8hrs: $450
Half Day Lake Trip, 4hrs: $350
